The challenge
Create local teams in Colombia and Costa Rica for their biggest client in the US Healthcare industry.
myBasePay had a specific challenge: build two teams of engineers for the development of a greenfield project that would transform the billing system of one of its vital clients.
The first team was to be based in Medellin, Colombia, and the challenge was to help create a local team , including full-stack, backend, and frontend developers, as well as quality assurance testers.
The second team had to be based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and the mission was to find very specific senior IT profiles to increase the current team in Central America.

After an immediate, fast, and efficient recruiting process, we were able to find the profiles that best matched our client’s needs.
It was a challenge for us as our work culture is 100% remote and we had to create specific workflows to get the talent our clients needed locally where they needed it.
However, after finishing the onboarding process of our profiles and confirming that everyone was performing correctly, we were able to negotiate with our client about the importance of remote work and the value of talent from all over Latin America.
Now we have, in addition to the local positions in Colombia and Costa Rica, 100% remote opportunities for our Latin American talent.
